PM Praises Armed Forces for Defending Nation with Honour

Pasrur Cantonment Visit

Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Defence Minister, Minister for Planning and Development, and Information Minister, visited Pasrur Cantonment in Sialkot today. The purpose of the visit was to acknowledge the extraordinary courage and professionalism displayed by the Armed Forces during Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, part of the broader military campaign, The Marqa-e-Haq.

The Prime Minister was welcomed by COAS General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, NI (M), alongside Corps Commander Gujranwala.

During the visit, PM Shehbaz received a detailed briefing on the battle’s execution and the Corps’ current operational preparedness. He praised the Armed Forces of Pakistan for their heroic performance, stating that they successfully thwarted India’s unprovoked aggression with unmatched precision and determination.

The brave sons of Pakistan, strengthened by the unwavering spirit of the nation, defended our motherland with remarkable professionalism,” the Prime Minister said. “History will remember how Pakistan’s defenders responded within hours, delivering a decisive and befitting blow to the enemy.”

While interacting with frontline troops, the Prime Minister lauded their high morale, readiness, and unwavering commitment. He declared that Pakistan takes immense pride in its armed forces, calling them the “crown jewels of the nation.”

Condemning the targeting of innocent civilians, children, women, and the elderly by Indian forces, the PM described it as a violation of all international norms and human rights. He noted that despite Pakistan’s call for neutral investigations, India avoided accountability and chose confrontation based on arrogance and false pretenses. “Alhamdulillah, our forces responded firmly, and our martyrs will forever remain a symbol of national pride,” he affirmed.

This visit by the Prime Minister underscores Pakistan’s deep appreciation for its military’s sacrifices and the importance of maintaining robust national security.
